Mrs Icarus

Mrs Icarus is a rather lighter and more playful - if still dangerous - collection of poems, hence Fred's joyful picture on the cover. Poems are funny things that arrive like babies, fully-formed and squalling to be cared for. I wake sometimes in the early hours of the morning with a line or a fragment in my mind and have to tend to it immediately before I can go back to sleep. Next day, the real work starts.
